CD Review

Psycodrama
dreams

1996
1/2

It's only fitting that Psycodrama's new album is called dreams. Accept no imitations. Psycodrama has always walked the line between originality and stereotype. After a five year hiatus, Psycodrama is back.

They haven't sold out.

They take on conformity ("Paper Route") and the importance of brushing your teeth ("(Take Me) Higher"). Fans of metallic pandemonium will find much to like on dreams, especially on "Surrounded By Myself," a song about the group confronting its demons.

It's better to burn out than it is to fade away, and no one knows this better than Psycodrama.
