Erik Lindgren's 50th Birthday Concert will celebrate more than his half-century of existence. Along with performances from Lindgren groups Birdsongs of the Mesozoic and the Sonare Wind Trio, the concert will dip back to the '70s when the pianist and composer played in art punk band Moving Parts with Mission of Burma's Clint Conley and Roger Miller. Both will be among the guests at the bash.
``It's not every day you turn 50,'' Lindgren said. ``I thought this would be a good opportunity to look back and pull out all the stops.'' Saturday at 8 at Pickman Hall, Longy School of Music, 1 Follen St., Cambridge. For more information, go to www.arfarfrecords.com
